The Aastra Ericsson DT590 is GAP-compatible and can be used with all Ericsson cordless business networks in the 1880–1900 MHz frequency range. The DT590 supports the transmission of text messages when messaging applications are used in conjunction with system ASB 150 02 R13 or higher. The DT590 cordless telephone offers enhanced functionality, including the ability to receive text messages and user-friendly call forwarding functions, and features a high-contrast alphanumeric display with backlight.
